NSW : Who is keen on going to MM09..??

Well if you dont know MM09 dates and loaction have been released.

QLD it is and dates are September 30th-October 6th 2009.

Lets get an idea of who is keen on going. Dont post if you wish you could go. just post if you are actually going to make an effort to go and have the funds. it a wed-sunday and you will need $1000-2500 for the trip depending on how long you go for.. That includes petrol and food and accomodation. We have a year to plan so even if you start putting $50 bucks away a week that will give you nearly $2600 for the trip.

I will go for two weeks around the event and make a small holiday out of it. We will get serviced apartments that have a few bedroom so we can share accomodation and make it cheaper for all and create a much better atmosphere..

The place i got in mind is where we stayed in MM06.. Very Nice http://www.surfersmayfair.com.au/ is $200 a nite for a two bedfroom apartment.

has all the luxurys like pool, spa tennis courts and also Under Ground Locked Parking. Its all within a few mins walk of Caval Ave on the Gold Coast..:)

just want to know what people think. We will set up and evening in the coming months for us to get together and discuss what people want and just a general info nite for people interseted.

I will say that if you are thinking i should go just do it. It will be the best time you can have with AMC.. its a mad road trip and you get to meet plenty of new people you always talk to on the forums. Its is a great experiance and MM09 will be my 4th Magna Meet and i cant wait..

It will be based around brissie and we are planning to stay at Surfers. Pleanty more happen there and can make a bit of a holiday out of it if we stay longer. We stayed there for MM06 and was good. thats why i wanna go back.

Must be real close to holidays time.. Fly up for the weekend and hitch a ride with some for the weekend or something.. They also did foldout beds in that place we stayed at..:)

Add that to your mods list: Truck for getting the Magna to the shops and back.

You could probably buy that and hire it out here to people who want to pickup wrecks/their own cars.
