And i will kick things off :

Spotted a lite blue TE-TJ wagon lowered to the max on what looked like 20s in Raymond Terrace i was the guy in the TF with VRX that slowed down to see if you would stop but you where with a few other cars not sure if your a member. it was around 6.15pm

Spotted this guy again on my way home from the photo cruise, wasn't going slow enough to try and get a flyer to him while I was next to him at the roundabout leaving Glendale Supercenter.

Yep that was me. I had to shoot of to Nobbys to give a photography lesson. That's why I had to take off from our shoot!!

Ahhhhhhh, nobbys was hectic, wind was unbelievable. We ended up going to Newy beach and chilled for the afternoon then grabbed indian and ate at the end of nobbys breakwall

Was awesome watching the looks on jogging peoples faces when they made it to the end of the breakwall and saw us sitting on a rock eating out of a tub of icecream :bowrofl:

Let my GF drive the car home on the freeway (which was a big thing for her considering her parents drive a carolla lol)

Yep shes all sorted now ended up being a result of the compressor melting a tube. looking at buying another 400C compressor to make her pump quicker and longer :)

Not sure I'd trade it in on a car with a parent company going down the gurgler with sparce Aust distribution as it is. At least there's a magna at every wrecker in the country (just none with a manual box, awd brakes or a TCL tb!)

paid $500 for the 20s! off a falcon, fit smicko under the tl's vrx guards.

Yep that sounds like Sianna Red it looks like a different colour in different kinds of light I should know lol I have one.
They have a gold flake mixed into the paint I found out when some touchup paint settled in a glass jar.

Yeah I know that problem lol, I do plan to get a decent camera in the near future as my current is getting fairly old now as in 9 years old or so and needs to be recalabrated etc.
The car is looking even better atm, I was just also measuring it up with the ribbon for a friends wedding it's doing in a few weeks time. So there will be lots of pics coming out over the coming weeks of me preping it.

Lol well someone else has a beetle in primer and a Sienna Red magna, i think it was a VR-X even, didn't get the best look at it, it had wheels but they were spokes and weren't very big, 17s or 18's at best, it was off to the left on the main road in Mayfield.

When i got my wisdom teeth out they put stiches in and said in 5 to 7 days they would dissolve well 1 month later they were still there so had to go get them cut out.

This Club is pretty good. Already answered a few of my questions that I had and now I find out there is a Newcastle "Branch". I just read all 15 pages of the thread to catch up and see what the newy magnas get up to. I havent spent any money on the exterior of the car so not worthy enough of any mentions on here!

First question to the Newcastle group is where is the best place to get second hand parts for my TJ? I need the mechanism for the automatic window on the drivers side and also the rear passenger seat belt on the left hand side? Jap Parts and Lambton doesnt have them.

I've gotten a few decent parts from Rathmines Wreckers over the years for my past Magna's, other then that you could pay one of your local mitsu dealers parts department a visit. (Kloster Parts Wickham or Kelly Group in Cardiff).

Unfortunately the seat belts are no longer made to buy as new and I want to keep the colour the same (grey). As for the window part it is $500 new compared to $120 for a replacement in Sydney. Thought I would exhaust the local wreckers first though.

Japwreck will charge you your first born child for a minor part. They used to be reasonable. Rathmines is pretty good, thats where I got my engine. Also try Hytech (I think theyre called that) they are in Cardiff (look in Yellow pages for Mitsu wreckers) and they are fairly reasonable. Either that, or try Ebay - search "Lancercity" he is awesome and is generally pretty cheap.

I called the guy at Rathmines who said he was too busy to look for the parts and would call me back and never did. I went out there today and he didnt have them and wasted my time (Wasnt happy)! I have got a reply from the ebay guy on Lancercity and price difference is negligable with postage so will order them from him for my TJ AWD.

From reading forums on AMC I have ordered a set of front and rear brake pads from Greg at GSL Rallysport for my TJ AWD. He was very helpful and I have the QFM HPX pads arriving tommorrow and will get my local Jax tyre man to fit them.. I was going to put on the RDA rotors from GSL but Greg said there is not much difference between them and the Reliance brand for the $80 extra so I just went with the standards from Jax Tyres.

I am also putting on a set of Pirelli P7's as well. My wife drives this car mostly so I am only putting on the
215/60/R16's not the 225/55/R16's.

Thanks for your help again, I have gained alot of good info from this Club already and have only been a member less than 2 weeks.

Spotted a yellow hyundai accent cop car on City Drive, Newcastle. Didnt get a great look (it was probably 2005-2006 model) but had blue decals with 'Police' written on it. Either the cops are using massively different cars, or someone was impersonating a cop lol
