Townsville - Ingham Car Show 2009

Lads.

Just gauging interest on who would like to go to the Ingham Car Show in 2009. They usually hold this toward the end of May, so there's a bit of time left, just thought it would be a good chance to get people together and enter ourselves as a group perhaps (if they permit it).

We've got a pretty visually impressive bunch of Magnas here, so I think we'd have a pretty good presence in Ingham amongst the usual crowd.

Now all we need to do is find a banner and maybe some fake AMC No plates.

The Ingham car show brings back horrible, terrifying memories.

But I'l start hassling the **** out of my cousin and see if I can't take up the Golden Sports that I'm sure you have seen getting around. My car should be back on the road but it won't be in show condition, I can be fairly sure the paint will still be terrible and *insert usual jokes about Kieran's car here* such.

But yeah, I'l see how we go.

If I remember correctly, which I usually don't. They usually have this on the May Day weekend, but hey, I'm probably wrong. It is always on a weekend though.

Last years event was between the 23-25 May so I dare say it will be around that time.
I checked the show website, nothing there yet about this years show.
I'm still keen, I'll have to make a weekend free for it, might even bring the family along.

Luke and I are keen, be a good way to promote the club and recruit more members.

I think I should have that weekend off so I am interested. However my car is pretty standard too so won't bother showing it, just watching. Should be good.
