hey guys!
ive been afk for a while, (too long) but, after getting some stuff together im happy to be able to come cruzing again :)
havnt been able to do much long runs over the last year or so in the ol TJ due to various things, kids (who are now nearly 3yo -- wow), shot tires, brakes, and was overdue for a timing belt. had them done recently and drove interstate to family for the xmas period/holidays.
long easy drive from brizzy to adelaide via bourke, and the ol girl drove flawlessly. cant speak highly enuff for a tj with 220k-kms on the clock. just brilliant.
xmas eve backing outta dads carport i managed to shank the passenger side front guard on the brickwork.. ouch... bummer. quoted 700 to fix :(
but, being the time of year, well, long story short, i no longer have the TJ. traded it in as is (including the ding) for 5g, and now have an '05 metallic dark blue 380 (factory alloys, tint, ralliart rear wing) for around 14k. 46thou on the odo, great shape, drives like a dream. looking forward to the adelaide to brizzy run home.
looking forward to catching up.
