  1. TL GTVi idling issue fixed.

I recently puchased a nice TL GTVi FWD with idling issues. It run like a dog on the 100k drive home and was as thirsty as hell. The idle was rough and occasionally the car would miss. Also showed CEL and traction control wouldn't work. On a whim I pulled the front plugs just to see what was in...

  3. TW is using coolant

my TW, 180k km, has suddenly started using coolant. The gauge is fine, it drives beautifully, no obvious leaks on the ground, no milkshake on the dipstick or visible thru the oil filler cap. I put a new radiator cap on about year ago, so that's probably OK. No damp spot on the passenger side floor....

  7. Engine Oil Warning Light - how low?

I've a question about the oil warning light on the dash; at what level does it come on? I was filling the oil the other day and I accidently drove the car with low oil before I realised it, i.e.: the oil was slightly less than half way between the high and low marks on the stick. But there...

  15. Would a 380 VRX front bumper fit onto the front of a 3rd gen TL?

Not sure if this is a thing, but would the front end of a 380 VRX fit onto the front of a tl? surely it wouldn't be a straight up swap, but with a little fab work it should be possible no? Has anyone attempted it before? Cheers!
