Well after two attempts, the 3rd and final automatic gearbox finally gave up within the month of...

  3. 1990 tp gt

Hey guys, first post. About 6 months ago I picked up this GT locally for $800. https://imgur.com/a/0CuFB It's reasonably tidy. Manual with 240k on it as of now. Has a couple of small rust bubbles under my crappy plastidip roof job, needs some new brake pads and I think control arm bushes....

  4. Floater05's GT

It has been a few years since I have been an active member of this forum and first gen owner. After years of talking about my old TP to anyone who would listen I decided to purchase one of carcycle's GTs before they weathered away into something that would only be worth crushing. The car is...

  5. TP Station wagon from 1991

We own a 1991 TP Station wagon that was at the tail end of this model and still had the carbed 2.6 Astron motor. Have had problems with it just running out of oomph and so far have replaced coil, electronic igniter, plugs and fuel pump with no real success as yet. Now thinking it may be the fuel...

  6. TN Magna flooding

Hi All, I have a TN Magna carby model which floods after you turn it off and it sits for 10-20 minutes. If you push the foot to the floor it also chokes. Put a carby kit through it, but a carby guy said it could be a blocked pipe and that it was a back pressure flood. Anyone experienced this?...

  9. Carby TP hard to start

Until two weeks ago normal cold starting was 2 pushes on the pedal and away we went. Now, if the car is not started for a couple of days it needs 10 to 15 seconds cranking before it fires. Once started it runs quite normally. Three questions: 1. Do the plastic carby bowls crack after long usage...
