Forum: 380 DB Series I - Series III

380 owners from DB 2005 - DB SIII 2008 Discussion here.

  1. Chan 10 news

Apparently the new 380 is the hardest 'family' vechical to steal. Audi A6 was tops too. (oooer and the 380 ignition/arlarm key has a LED on it :P) That is all i have to say.

  3. First fuel consumption figures

In case anyone wants to know... I filled up my 380GT today and checked the fuel consumption. Litres: 37 Kilometres: 328 L/100km = 11.3 Not too shabby, the engine is not run in yet (<1000 kms on the odometer).

  4. Stop following me!

As the driver of a 1 day old 380GT I would like to make a request on behalf of all 380 owners. Please stop following us! Worse yet is slowing down in the lane next to me to look at my new car. It is becoming impossible to change lanes when I find a Magna driver on either side of me ogling the...

  6. 380 will kill Mitshi in OZ!

The VH series Valiant that ended with the CM killed off Chrysler Australia because Chrysler Australia thought they could compete with the Kingswood and Falcon head to head. They couldn't! The 380 is "just another car", there is nothing special about the 380. OK granted it's a great car probably...

  7. First 380 Owner?

Newcastle Magna Club has it's first 380 member. We are enlightning him to AMC and should see him make an appearance here shortly. Has anyone else got one yet? Just confirming bragging rights :bowrofl: He is coming on a cruise we have on Sunday so photo's of a 380GT rubbing shoulders...

  8. Which car?

Two choices. New, Sapphire Blue TW AWD VRX with Leather all black interior for $31,000. New, Black 380 Base Model Manual, $35,000-ish. What you guys think? I test drove both, definately liked the Magna more in terms on handling and the leather embroided with VRX. The 380 was much faster...

  9. Quality

Had a look at the 380, now the quality could be better considering it's a ground up design with the latest techology. The panel gaps and shut lines are to wide, the plastics and the seat material looks cheap all that for $34000 base model 5speed plus on road costs. The sales man tells me how good the...

  10. Should the 380 come with factory LPG as standard?

Look at the fuel prices, even people earning a comfortable wage would be having second thoughts about buying a 6 cylinder petrol car. With fuel tipped to hit $1.50 a litre by January theres not much sense in buying big if its going to sting your wallet. Why not make the 380 as LPG only? Have...

  13. Urgent News!!!!!!!!!!!

Have heard from very reliable source that mitsu has grounded the sales of 380 due to certain recall on all vehicles as of the 26/10/05 and also an extra safety recall on the 380. I cannot say what the recalls are but check the papers tomorrow. Very dissapointing for mitsu. Sales of the 380 will...

  15. Manual Heavier on Fuel than Auto

I was at Mitsu at Glendale today checking out a black manual VRX and I was talking to the salesman and he told me that the manual 380 is heavier on fuel than the auto which I found hard to believe considering the magna manuals are better on fuel than the auto versions. Has anyone else been told...

  16. New 380 or run-out Verada Ei?

Hi guys, was looking at the new 380 range as my next company vehicle, and my first thoughts were to go for the LS. However, when I went to test drive the vehicle on Saturday, I was told that an automatic 380 VR-X was cheaper than an LS. With the government-fleet discounts (for some strange...

  17. New Tranny

Obviously to those who have driven a 380 that the new 5spd tippy sh!ts all over the 5spd Magna box. The question i ask is can the new box be grafted onto a 3.5? I know the ecu is entirely different and so is component wiring(380 is a multiplex system magna isnt) Has anyone asked this question?...

  19. am i too young to test drive???

was reading all the test drive reports you guys have posted here, now i'm tempted to go to my local mitsu dealer for a test drive in the 380. however given i'm only 21, i seriously doubt the sales men will be interested in conning me, or even let me have a quick fang(although i'm seriously...

  20. LPG for 380

According to the latest Go-Auto E-news. 380 GASSES UP MITSUBISHI Australia’s 380 line-up will soon be bolstered by a dual-fuel LPG variant. Outgoing boss Tom Phillips revealed in Sydney last week that the gas conversion would add around $2300 to the cost of the donor car. The dual-fuel car...
