Forum: 380 DB Series I - Series III

380 owners from DB 2005 - DB SIII 2008 Discussion here.

  1. Would it be possible to...

put a series III VRX style lower grille onto a 380 SX? I've taken a look at both and it looks like the VRX grille would simply slot right in, presuming all the fixing points/holes match. Any advice around this? Photos: 38067 38068

  2. Would Pajero 6G75 extractors / headers on 380?

Hi all, I have a S2 VRX running on vapour injection LPG and am looking at options for extractors. Used to own a 2.4 MIVEC lancer and have tried RPW extractors before and would prefer to look at a different supplier this time round, especially since running on LPG means higher temps and more...

  4. Wreck prices - anyone watched some auctions?

I'm thinking about buying a wrecked 380 to plunder the engine and brakes, whatever else I want, and parting out the rest. Anyone seen them go at auction? I know it varies depending on how many of the panels are borked.

  8. XR6 Turbo owner buys 380VRX....

No, I didn't trade in the T, but purchased a 380VRX for the missus.. Picked it up today.... All in all , excellent value for money, nice interior, and goes well for a NA V6.. One thing I don't like is the ride height. Still too much gap between the wheel arch and actual tyre. Anyone know a...

  10. Yellow / Gold ATF in Transmission After Flush?

This one even has Mitsubishi stumped. I picked up my car after its major service yesterday, and one of the services I requested was a transmission flush - the old fluid was looking dark. When I checked it after I got home, about a 6 kilometre drive (I haven't driven it since then), I checked the...

  12. Your Best Economy in 380

Today I reached a record (for me) 611 kilometres on 1 tank (91 octane); final average of 9.8L/100km. Most of my driving is on motorways (non peak hour). This tank lasted me 2 weeks (but both weeks were reduced from Easter long weekend, plus I only do work-driving; religating weekend kms for my...
