  1. Ideas for two-way (amateur) radio placement

Hi folks. I've been enjoying my new 380 Platinum lately but the one thing I miss from my old car is the amateur gear I had in it. Is there anyone who has installed or have two-way radio (etc) gear in their 380 and have any ideas? There's just so little space and to make things more...

  2. Older article, but what does everyone think?

http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/content/2006/s1772688.htm Don't like the sounds of this older article, especially in light of the very minor series 3 update. I suppose we will know for sure come November this year (last of the 3 dates nominated for an official announcement re shutdown of Tonsley...

  6. Advise needed re rear-ender

Hi all, I would very much like to get some advice on what to do regarding a rear-end collision (at slow speed) that happened to me on my way home today. I was heading northbound on Epping Road, adjacent to the Epping Tunnel in slow-crawling traffic (right on 4pm) when a green Daewoo ran into...

  8. 380 go fast bits

wondering what sort of bits and pirces are available so far, im in 2 minds as what to buy, its either a low K WRX for over 20G or a 380 sx well below 20g with 10 000k ish on clock. while a rex would be just a dream, the 380's interior is far far superior and will have about 90grand less...

  10. TMR380 and TRD Aurion - Where are they now?

Considering the last interview I can find had Rob McInery stating that the go-ahead for the TMR380 would be given a yes or no by the accountants in Mid-April, and by the fact it's lost all media interest, should it be safe to say no news is bad news in this circumstance? Likewise, I've heard...

  11. 380 VRX - Good value?? Opinions please!

Hi, I'm new and looking at getting into a 380 VRX soon. I'm struggling a little to find one in manual, mainly due to the low number sold new. I've found a Molten (red) 11/2005, 23,000km for $26990 drive away with leather and a sunroof. It's an ex-Mitsubishi Exexcutive car so the 10 year...

  12. End Of The Road For 380?

Saw this article today (while hearing Holden plan to sack 600 production staff) http://www.smh.com.au/news/news/mitsubishi-confirms-380-replacement/2007/03/05/1172943335566.html Seems everything you read/hear about the 380 is bad. Is this car doomed to fail? Or maybe this just isn't the right...

  14. 3 month wait?!?!

I went car shopping yesterday looking for either a 380 manual Platinum in platinum or a SX manual in the same colour. Would you believe that there is a 12 week wait on a manual SX? Considering that the factory at Tonsley Park isn't running at capacity you would think it would be a non issue to run...

  16. my 380 Platinum is here !

Picked it up Saturday morning. Black (same as the one in the PDF on Mitsubishi's website) with the extra darkened tint and towbar package. Love it, can't recommend it enough. Never thought I'd ever purchase a new car, but the price brand new is absurd considering what you get. I almost feel...

Hi all. Might be a strange request, but i was hoping that someone could post a pic for me of the 'GT' badge on the rear of a 380?? reason is that i'm resto'ing a 68 Isuzu Bellett GT, and the original 'GT' badges are not only impossible to get now, but the 2 i have for it (it actually needs 3,...
