  5. 380 Ignition coils - would coils from a US galant be suitable?

Just wondering if the ignition coils from the US Galant of the same vintage as the 380 would be suitable for the 380. From what I can see they have the same electrical connector as the 380 coil and go into the same engine rocker cover and onto the same spark plug so must be the correct length. ...

  6. Thinking About 380s - Anything To Look For?

While I'm still considering my Verada restoration, I haven't ruled out looking for another car either. I've been a real sucker for punishment with this particular KJ, everything from leaking or warped rocker covers to a bad heater core, failed steering rack, driveshafts, oil pressure switch, busted...

Howdy all, just picked myself up a 2006 Mitsubishi 380 VRX with 130k on he clock, drives like a dream except for some knocking or clunking from the front and rear suspension, the front knocks when going over drains: driveways and uneven roads and feels like a knock through the steering wheel or...

  13. Question about headlights on warning buzzer on a 380?

My son has a 380 and he left the parkers on this week and flattened the battery. My third gen (TH) has a warning buzzer when you open the driver's door and exit, to remind you to turn off the lights. Does this exist on a 380? (I've searched the forum but can see a discussion on this...

  14. A record for us

I think this is a record for economy for our 380. 960km round trip with about 100km of heavy Sydney traffic but otherwise gentle highway driving mostly with A/C off. 7.9l/100 km on 95 RON fuel (calculated from actual use). Just goes to show these can be quite economical when driven carefully.

  16. New brake pads and rotors

At the last service I was told my front brakes are low and having a look around/think about it I was thinking of getting some DBA Sreet slotted rotors and TRW pads to suit. Last time I got some RDA slotted and a QFM pad, from memory, but haven't been overly happy with them. I have had good luck...

Hi all, No luck with the search in relation to this issue. My 380's cigarette lighter outlet has stopped working. Quick question... Does the weight need to be taken off the front wheels to do this (ie jack, axle stands, remove wheels), or can these be changed out with the car driven up on ramps?

  20. Will they fit??? New Kia alloys and tyres on my 380

Have had my Lx for nearly a year now. Bought it with badly kerbed front rims from an old couple. Has the standard 215/55/17's on it. I can get a good deal on a new set of alloys and new tyres that have been taken off a new Kia. Correct PCD but wheels are 17's with a 46 positive offset and tyres are...
