    Default 380 gasket set

Hi , I'm a glutton for punishment because i just bought another series 3 380. I used to own one from new in 07 but I sold it a few years back.
Anyway I really liked the power of the 380 that I had so I just got another one as a knock about & a take me to work mobile.
So, it needs new rocker gaskets and probably a few others as well & I was wondering if the NP Pajero gasket set will fit the 380?
For that matter are there any other Mitsubishi vehicles that have the same donk as the 380?
When you search for 380 gasket kits on google they always seem to be dearer that the pajero gaskets.
EDIT:At time of this edit my post has had 40 views,, so why no reply? I do not believe that someone on this forum doesn't know the answer to my question.

    1. That's an interesting way to talk to a forum when you've only been a member for 5 posts.

    2. Why would people comment if they don't know?

    3. If you're after 380 rocker gaskets, why wouldn't you just order 380 gaskets instead of Pajero ones?

    4. The Pajero 3.8 had a MIVEC head, so the gaskets may be different. I'm not sure.

True about the Pajero not fitting. Got all my gear from this local Brisbane mob who ship free anyway. Almost 1yr and 20k later and everything is all good! Totally not worth buying the kit separately as it costs way more individually.

yeah, thanks guys for the info & sorry for the late reply but I have been away for 6 weeks. Sorry about the aggro in the post too, but I was starved for time & wanted to get it done before I left.
OK so the pajero kit is not a goer, that's real good information to know.
because some of these online stores are selling them as one kit does both 380 & Pajero which is why I asked.
So you don't think the full valve regrind gasket kit is worth it hey?
But what about the intake manifold gaskets? I will need a set of those too, or are the ones on fitted reusable. I can't imagine why they would be.
Anyway, I have used your links for the timing belt & water-pump but. So thanks for that.

The metal intake gasket is reusable. Well it was on my third gen. just don't damage it taking it off.

The reason I did not answer was partly because you have asked so many questions which have so many answers

    Here are but a few

NO the NP Pajero 6G75 is not the same as the 380 6G75 HOWEVER the rocker cover gaskets on the motor ARE the same. Pajero did not go MIVEC until the NS

There are NO other Mitsubishi's in Oz which have the same engine as the 380 except the 100's of these I have fitted to second gen Pajero's. Tritons, Challengers and of course Magna's

Hope this clears a few things up and no, we dont always have time to drop everything and reply on the spot either sorry
