Default Testing V6 coils, please help.

My dad has a 3rd generation triton with the 3L V6, and I suspect that a coil pack is going bad.

Using a multi meter, what test method and resistances should we be seeing?

My Max Elery W/s manual for the Pajero quotes 0.6 - 1.0 Ohms between the terminals 1 - 2, 1 - 3 and 2 - 3. Sadly it doesn't show a diagram as to which terminals are which, but since hte values are all the same I guess it doesn't matter in this case.

Further to my reply above, firstly check the high voltage leads to see if they are breaking down and/or shorting to earth. The easiest way to do this is to get into a very dark environment and open the bonnet with the engine running. If they are breaking down or shorting out, they show up very clearly.
