What are the rest of the Protex range like? Are the rotors any good? There are sets on Ebay but they include the Blue pads, not the 4x4 or Ultra ones.
I am a Protex Dealer and use the rotors and pads on all my cars and most of my customers cars

The Blue range is the budget range, is for mum dropping the kids off at school and that is about it

The 380 has a very small range with Protex which is why I use the TRW on the 380's which are rated similar to the old HPX before they turned to rubbish, TRW last well, are a little dusty but certainly take the heat as well.

I only have a fraction of the brakes I have listed on E-Bay as I simply dont have the time. If I had more time I would have thousands of combos listed

Which TRW do you use on the 380?

My wife does tow a horse trailer at times so I was thinking of trying the Bendix HD pads with Bosch rotors this time.....or just regular DBA rotors.

Im using remsa pads on my weekender at the moment they are fairly good abit dustier than the ebc greens i used previous but they seem to hold up ok. Took me 3 hard driven laps of winton before they started to fade. Not bad for $60 i reckon. Also only using rda slotted/dimpled rotors

I forgot about EBC, but I can't seem to find if they are available for the 380? I was thinking of the Reds.

I'm on the 2nd set of Bendix HD"s on my wagon with AWD front brakes & have found them quite good..... do a bit of heavy towing as well.

Great, how is the wear on pads and rotors? What rotors do you use?

Nothing out of the ordinary, haven't kept records for that. Have been alternating between stock ones & slotted DBA's..... that way I have a fresh set on hand.

I think I may try for the HD pads and some regular DBA discs.

And this is exactly what I have done. Ordered the set for front and rear, we'll see how these go.

The last combo seemed really good initially, but then not so good and are now replacement ready, so I'll see how this combo does.

It's been a long time since I put a Bendix pad on a car though!
